National Geographic “The 80’s: The Decade That Made Us” World Premier Party
Kairos Production was stoked to provide production for the world premier party of The National Geographic Channel’s new miniseries “The 80’s: The Decade That Made Us”
Produced by The King Collective and held at 80’s themed nightclub The Culture Club on west 39th Street, the packed party was awesome to the extreme. Kairos provided a totally rad 90” LED screen in the upper lounge to show clips of the six-part series, narrated by Rob Lowe.
Out on the street crowds thronged to catch a glimpse of 80’s pop icons Debbie Gibson, Malcolm-Jamal Warner (Theo Huxtable), Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of the legendary hip hop group Run-DMC, Mindy Cohn from “The Facts of Life” original MTV V-J’s Mark Goodman and Nina Blackwood, and other 80’s notables.
Kairos provided the red carpet entrance with tenting and lighting to greet the celebs and partygoers. Kairos Production also provided DJ gear, lighting, a beauty bar, and additional production support.
It is always great to work with The King Collective – they take every event to the max!
